 现为中国科学院动物研究所智能生物材料与生物医学工程研究组组长。开发了全新的生物材料,建立了成熟的3D生物打印平台。主导首次完成了人神经干细胞和人多能性干细胞的3D打印,在三维体系下完成干细胞的原位功能分化,推进了干细胞3D打印领域的进展。同时深入研究了多种物理因素对干细胞分化的影响,开发多种定向调控细胞命运的物理因素。目前致力于功能性生物材料研发、生物打印平台设计、三维器官再造及生物材料对细胞命运的调控研究。主持和参与多项科研项目,担任中科院A类先导专项器官重建与制造项目下课题功能性生物打印墨水及个性化生物3D打印装置研发负责人。
